IN my opinion anyone who wishes to stand as a councillor for Blackburn and Darwen or any other town for that matter should have to undertake a test to prove they have at least some knowledge of the geography of that town.
I refer to the recent letter to your newspaper by Coun D Pearson in which he puts the so-called Bank Top lion on the corner of Wensley Road. It is of course on the corner of Oakenhurst Road formally Greaves Street. Get to know your town Coun Pearson.
