OUR MP Janet Anderson with two councillors met post office officials to discuss the future of Sudell's post office on London Terrace.
Mrs Anderson stated that "it was a bit disappointing that more people didn't send letters because people won't know about their concerns if they don't voice them"
I know that I have only been a councillor for a few weeks, but I would have thought that it was her job to find out what their feelings were and try her best to get the people who voted for her what they want.
It is the post office between Earcroft and Marsh House. Over 700 people who do use this post office signed the petition and want it to stay open. When I stood outside this post office for three days collecting these signatures I did not see any Labour councillors there.
Coun ROY DAVIES, Olive Lane, Darwen.
