ST Bartholomew's Church, Great Harwood celebrates The International Year of the Family at its Patronal Festival this month.
On Thursday, August 26 there will be a family festival disco with "Jedi" at the Village Inn from 6.30pm-10pm. Family tickets are £3.
On Saturday, August 28 a festival cabaret and dance will be held at the Village Inn from 7.30pm-11.30pm. Tickets £6, including potato pie supper.
On Sunday, August 29 the 10.30am Patronal Festival Eucharist at St Bartholomew's will be led by the Ven Colin Williams, Archdeacon of Lancaster. Later in the day there will be a Festival Songs of Praise with Haslingden and Helmshore Brass Band followed by a Brass Band Concert from 8pm-9pm in Church.
On Monday, August 30 a cabaret cruise, an evening of music and entertainment will be held in church at 7.30pm. Tickets £2.50.
From Saturday to Monday, the flower festival in church will have the theme "A Sense of Occasion." Admission by programme, price £2.50. There will be lunches, refreshments and craft stalls.
