WHATEVER the weather, many of the regulars at a cosy little Blackpool caf, choose to tuck in to satisfying, good old traditional English fare.
Although partners, Ian and Ian (sic) have only owned the business in Cheapside for a couple of months, they already know the customers' lunchtime favourites - and they're all home-made.
Rich beef stew and dumplings, sausage, onions and mash, giant Yorkshire puddings and Shepherd's pie are among the daily specials, priced from £3.50 to £4.95. Lasagne and chilli con carne are another two tempting options.
Hearty appetites are catered for and the £2.95 all-day breakfast comprises two eggs, two rashers of bacon, sausage, hash browns, mushrooms, beans, tomato and toast. A cup of tea is 60 pence.
Lighter meals are available too, with a variety of salads, sandwiches and filled jacket potatoes with an eat in or takeaway service. And there's a tasty vegetarian menu which is based on Linda McCartney's recipes.
