MORE than 100 people per day have been visiting Lytham St Annes Art Society's latest exhibition, say delighted organisers.
Crowds have been flocking to see the display of 170 paintings and 47 craft items, which runs at the Drive Methodist Church halls, St Annes, until this Saturday (July 31) at 2pm.
Awards including best water colour, best oil painting and best sea or landscape were judged by Malcolm Fryers, a professional Liverpool artists and former gallery curator. The Presidents Cup went to Jean Adams for her 'many years of unstinting work for the society', a spokesman said.
The society's next event will be its annual Open Air Exhibition at Hastings Place, Lytham, on August 21 and 22. The charity fund-raising display will 'bring a taste of Montmarte' to the public.
