DECRIMINALISED parking is the subject of two public meetings being held in Ribble Valley.
Ribble Valley Borough Council will host the meetings on Wednesday, August 11, in Clitheroe, and Wednesday, September 1, in Longridge.
The 12 district councils in East Lancashire were scheduled to take over the enforcement and management of parking from Lancashire Police in July.
The Department for Transport has now given a new start date for the ParkWise scheme of Sunday, September 5.
Officers from Ribble Valley Borough Council and Lancashire County Council will be at hand to explain the new scheme and answer questions from the general public.
The meetings, chaired by Ribble Valley Council leader John Hill, will take place at the Ribble Valley Council Chamber in Church Street and Longridge Civic Hall in Calder Avenue at 7pm.
