A SERIES of free training courses has been set up in Rossendale.
The courses, at the Mary Hindle Resource Centre, Bury Road, Haslingden, are designed to help community, voluntary and faith groups across the Valley.
Starting in September, the courses range from a basic introduction to computers to basic food hygiene and child protection.
Other courses include an introduction to documents (basic tools for word processing), internet and e-mail skills and basic first aid.
First aid, food hygiene and child protection are one-day courses in September while the computer-related courses all last five weeks and start at the beginning of next month.
Anyone who wishes to book a place on any of the courses should contact Emma Siddle at the resourse centre on 01706 229330 or by e-mail at this address - emma@maryhindle.org.uk
