COUNCIL employees in Ramsbottom could find themselves nominated for the latest Bury Council's Employee Achievement Awards.
The awards, which follow a similar event last year, recognise the outstanding achievements of council employees and their contribution to service improvements.
Any council employee can be nominated for one of the awards by members of the public, voluntary groups and organisations.
Local businesses and councillors will also be able to nominate potential award winners.
Bright yellow nomination forms are available now at council offices, libraries and leisure centres, or they can be filled in on-line at www.bury.gov.uk
The initiative will culminate in a 'showcase' awards ceremony in the New Year when a series of departmental awards will be made, as well as a single award for outstanding partnership working.
