ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman has signed experienced left back Stuart Bimson on a month's loan from Cambridge United.
The 34-year-old, who started his career at Macclesfield before a six-year stint at Lincoln, is expected to feature in tomorrow's friendly at Southport (kick-off 3pm).
Bimson, who made more than 170 appearances for the Imps, could make his move to the Interlink Express Stadium permanent if his loan spell is successful.
Meanwhile, Coleman and a number of Stanley players will run another summer soccer school at Highams Playing Fields from Monday to Thursday next week.
The course, which is open to boys and girls aged from six to 12 inclusive, covers all aspects of football skills, with prize games, mini tournaments and penalty shoot-outs.
The soccer school, which runs from 10am to 3pm each day, costs £32 or £8.50 per day.
Application forms are available from the Stanley Store.
