BARMAN Tony O'Sullivan was shaven not stirred when he proved himself to be a cut above the rest.
The Swan and Railway tender could only look on in horror as his long locks were lopped off by his wife Sue. However, a smile has since returned to Tony's face after learning that the hair cut raised £256 for charity, with more money still to come in.
The cash will be added to funds from other planned events at the Spring Lane pub over the next few weeks in memory of the late landlord, Norman Harris, who died of cancer in 2002.
All the proceeds will be presented to Blackburn Royal Infirmary's Maxillo Facial Unit, where Mr Harris was being treated during his illness.
