GENEROUS youngsters at a Whitefield Brownie group carried out a number of sponsored tasks to help children with a serious illness.
The members of the 5th Whitefield Brownies, at Stand All Saints Church, raised £240 by completing 26 different tasks, such as writing their name backwards and singing songs.
The money will be divided between the charity Children With Leukaemia and the Brownies group.
The youngsters, who are aged between seven and 10, were rewarded for their efforts with certificates and prizes.
