YOUNGSTERS are invited to steam ahead to the Ramsbottom Farmers' Market on Sunday (Aug 8).
They should climb aboard Thomas the Tank Engine, who is coming to town courtesy of the East Lancashire Railway. Once there, they can take advantage of free face painting at Ramsbottom Civic Hall from 10am, and also take part in cookery sessions run by chef Richard Cowper from High Seas Seafoods in the Market Place.
The market, which runs from 10am to 3pm at the civic hall and market place, will feature more than 25 stalls from North West farmers and producers offering fruit and vegetables, fresh meat (including goat meat), fresh fish and bread, and other delicacies.
