HOSPICE campaigner Susie Mathis, the Kirsty Appeal Co-ordinator for Francis House Children's Hospice, will be at a charity demonstration from 6pm next Thursday (Aug 12) at Bents Garden Centre, Warrington Road, Glazebury.
Garden tool suppliers Wolf Garten have a fun and informative gardening demonstration planned.
Tickets for the event in the Fresh Approach Restaurant at the centre cost £3 (and all proceeds will go to the charity) and include a champagne reception and a free gift from Wolf Garten for everyone.
Ron Bent said: "Kirsty's Appeal is a great cause and we are looking forward to helping raise money for the hospice. We are delighted to be joined by Wolf Garten. Hopefully people will not only have an enjoyable evening, but will go away better informed about the garden and what can be achieved.
"Susie is doing a fantastic job with Kirsty's Appeal and we hope our demonstration evening will go a little way to help reach the £5 million target."
