DISABLED pensioner John Byrne, aged 65, is angry and upset at the removal of seats from the foyer of his local superstore.
But Asda said the seats had to be removed because of health and safety issues, and that smokers used the seats contravened a smoking ban that the store enforces.
A spokesman for the Golborne store said the seats would not be replaced.
