I FEEL compelled to praise those involved in providing the beautiful hanging baskets and decorative gardens in Bury, especially in Sparrow Park. The time and effort taken is greatly appreciated by the many people who stand and admire these works of art.
A big thank-you also for the improvements in Clarence Park, where children are enjoying playing on the new facilities in a safe and clean environment. The park has been re-surfaced and there are plenty of benches to sit on and admire the surroundings.
When the Lido is finished (hopefully with new benches as well) and the work on the fields nearby, then we will once more have an area to be proud of.
Well done, and thank-you again from all of us.
