TOM Fell of Countryside Alliance invites the public to witness hunts (LET, August 13) and says animal rights people misinform people about hunting.
He implies that hunts are necessary, avoiding the issue of cruelty involved.
Animal welfare organisations attend hunts and gain evidence to expose this obscene bloodsport.
Of over 3,000 newcomers who join in, I doubt many return to attend and participate in another hunt, realising the cruelty involved.
