BLACKBURN with Darwen Primary Care Trust is inviting people to a peek at the Darwen Health Centre when they visit the Darwen Gala on Saturday.
Visitors, who will find the stand in the marquee, will be able to see what the new centre will look like, find out more about services to be provided and ask questions about progress. There will also be a competition to guess the number of bricks in the completed building.
The stand will be staffed between noon and 5pm when Building Commissioning Project Manager Christine Winstanley and Deputy Neighbourhood Administrator Jane Parker will be on hand to provide information and answer questions. During the afternoon they will be joined by Darwen resident Graham Carter and other members of the advisory group helping the PCT plan the new centre.
