I WISH that people in Tockholes would put up and shut up about the humps and chicanes (LET, August 9).
They really give me the hump the way they go on about it all the time. One man speaks about his wife damaging her car. If she went slower it would probably not happen.
I walk through Tockholes two or three times a week. There are not many footpaths and it is very dangerous.
Over 30 years ago I had a child who died after being knocked over. I still suffer her death to this day. I have road humps all the way to my home in Darwen. Everyone has them around these days.
I think the safety people should stick to their guns about Tockholes and if people do not agree, they should move.
