A TRIO of charity motorcyclists have completed a round Britain trip to help pensioners.
Freemasons in the Leigh group of Lodges Jim Hough, Ken Shea and Peter Thompson rode a sponsored 1,800 miles trip from Leigh to John O'Groats on to Lands End and back to Leigh to raise £800 for Leigh Pensioners' Link.
It took the party, which included Jim's wife, Anne, riding pillion, just six days.
A saddle sore Ken said on the return to Leigh Masonic Hall: "The rides were glorious. There is nowhere else on earth we could have enjoyed ourselves more. Our sponsors have helped us to raise this valuable contribution for Pensioners' Link."
