COUNCILLOR Byrne and his Labour party colleagues are always accusing the Conservatives of cutting back the NHS hospitals and trumpeting that they will save the NHS.
However, in the case of Fairfield Hospital, they're as quiet as a mouse! Any intelligent person can see that if Fairfield's specialist baby care unit is shut down then the next to go will be its maternity unit followed by the A & E unit etc. until there will be nothing of any importance left. What will Bury's Labour party do? Nothing -- except cry crocodile tears!
So if the future of Fairfield Hospital means anything to you, sign the petition to save the specialist baby care unit and then vote out those hypocritical Labour MP's and councillors as soon as possible.
