THE 21st century addition to Leigh Parish Church has been exposed.
For months work on the dangerous 16th century tower has been under wraps, but the tarpaulins were taken down this week to reveal the safe new turrets -- and they stand out like a sore thumb.
The new stone looks green in comparison to the rest, but I'm sure it will weather down to match in no time.
And I'll be glad when the clock is back in action, I haven't half missed it.
