CHILDREN at a school in Colne can now gaze at the stars thanks to a funding boost from the Yorkshire Bank.
Gibfield Special Needs School, in Gibfield Road, has bought a computer directed telescope thanks to a grant of £300 from the bank's Educational Awards Scheme.
Up to now they have had to use binoculars and a telescope brought in by a member of staff.
The school is one of 330 across England to benefit from the bank's Educational Award Scheme.
