PENDLE Partnership has celebrated the first anniversary of the borough's community strategy - a plan to improve the quality of life of everyone in the borough over the next 14 years.
Staff are marking the occasion with a large birthday cake picturing the front cover of the strategy document, which was drawn up with involvement from people across Pendle.
Partnership chairman Dennis Mendoros OBE said: "On the first anniversary of the launch of Pendle's Community Strategy we want to know if people think we have got it right and what our priorities should be for the next year.
The Partnership has pledged to work together more closely to support the vision in the strategy to create "a borough that provides a high quality of life for all its citizens and that is known regionally and nationally as a great place to live, learn, work and visit".
