FUN, fairytale and fiddles all feature in the packed 2004-2005 programme by PADOS.

The Prestwich Amateur Dramatic and Operatic Society have selected something for everyone in the forthcoming season, which starts in October.

The first play of the season begins on October 23 and runs until October 30 at PADOS House, in St Mary's Road, Prestwich.

The group launches the programme with the Lancashire comedy Hindle Wakes by Stanley Houghton.

This is followed by the traditional PADOS Christmas pantomime Snow White which runs from December 11 to 18 and promises fun and frolics for all the family.

In the new year, the classic play The Ghost Train by Arnold Ridley will gather steam from February 19 to 26.

And for a grand finale at the end of the season, the PADOS team will opt for a change of venue for the popular musical Fiddler on the Roof.

The performance will take place at The Met Theatre in Bury from May 17 to 21.

Tickets are already on sale for the two plays and the pantomime, at PADOS House, contact the box office on 0870 774 3500.
