THE organisers of the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival which comes to Colne next week have pulled off a major coup by getting the legendary Arthur Brown to compere the opening night of the four-day festival.
The celebrated hell-raiser, best known for the hit Fire will act as MC on the international stage at Colne Municipal Hall next Friday night.
The festival, which features some 600 musicians over the four days promises to be one of the best ever with acts including Dr Feelgood, Earl Thomas, Eddy Clearwater and headliner Mo Rodgers.
