I HOPE that your newspaper or its knowledgeable readers can help me with my problem. I was sorting my 'rubbish' out the other day and came across the following. I was in Blackpool at Squires for a few years during WW2 as an instructor and I must have picked the article up while I was there!
I have a small red cream toffee box, with the name A Page & Sons printed on the side, also printed on the box are the words Page's Super Cream Toffee plus a print of the original Big Wheel but no sign of the Tower. As a child I remember both Wheel and Tower and I am now 87.
The box dimensions are 4ins x 2ins x 1. I am hoping that some of your older readers remember the firm and will tell me all about it.
Many, many thanks for your assistance.
