AS a member of a trade union I was reading John P Johnston's letter (LET, August 17) with interest until the point where he mentioned the Respect Party -- a party in which I have zero respect for.
How can I have any tolerance for a party headed by the despicable George Galloway -- a man in my opinion every bit as extreme and dangerous to his country as anything the far-right has to offer.
He is also a man who openly praised Saddam Hussein who slaughtered his own people.
George Galloway can fool some people as a liberal saviour but I believe he is extreme and a man who is dis-RESPECT-ful to his own country.
