POLICE are investigating after one of their vehicles was involved in a crash on Barden Lane, Burnley.
The police dog van was answering a call to a two-car accident near the canal bridge at about 7.20pm when a passing car collided with the front end, officers said.
The female driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The police vehicle was empty at the time of the crash.
