THE NFA North West Championships was fished on the Bridgewater Canal from Leigh Bridge to Volex.
Leigh Ospreys entered two junior teams and one intermediate team.
The intermediate individual winner was Dean Morris with 2k 960g and second was Shaun Keavney with 2k 720g. The Ospreys also claimed fourth and fifth places through Daniel Hudson and Danny Martin to give Leigh the overall team title.
The Juniors gold team finished second in the team contest with the red team finishing third overall.
Liam Grundy was the overall junior winner with 2k with Adam Holland the best in the first team with 980g.
