AFRICAN textiles are on part of a multi-cultural show at the Turnpike Gallery in Leigh.
The "Paroles de Tisserands" exhibition is a tribute to a thousand year-old tradition and presents handcrafted works from Mali, Morocco and Ghana.
The textile include plaits and cushions from Morocco, rugs from Mali, and blankets from Ghana.
Michael Rycroft, community festivals manager for Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, said: "It is a great honour to receive here an exceptional exhibition on African traditional crafts."
The display is part of the WOW festival and continues until September 18.
