A man accused of attempted arson at an Atherton nightclub appeared before Liverpool Crown Court.
Gregory Yates, of Leigh Road, Leigh is alleged to have attempted to cause a fire on July 25 in Morgans night club with intent to endanger life.
Yates, aged 18, was remanded on bail until October 25 when he is expected to enter his plea. As a condition of his bail he is not to enter Morgans.
