STAFF at care group Crossroads have cut themselves a slice of the organisation's national 30th anniversary celebrations.
Mayor Councillor Barry Briggs was the guest at Crossroads headquarters in Hornby Street, Bury, when he cut the celebration cake.
Crossroads was launched in Rugby in 1974. The care group is now in its 11th year in Bury and has many other centres throughout the country. The organisation offers respite services through community-based attendants to relieve the stress suffered by carers looking after people with physical, mental and other handicaps within the family home.
In March, Bury Crossroads became the first organisation in the town to achieve National Care Standards Commission registration.
