PARENTS made good use of their wisdom teeth when they took part in a quiz testing their knowledge on dental health care.
Mums, dad and carers had plenty to smile about at Ribblesdale Medical Centre when they recorded good marks in the fun quiz.
To mark National Smile Week, health visitors at the child health department of the Bury medical centre organised the test to promote the importance of developing good dental routines early in life.
Uriana Boye, senior dental officer for the local health promotion team, said: "The quiz not only helped highlight the benefits of good oral and dental health, but it was also a useful tool for opening up discussions on various health care topics. The participation in the quiz was very positive .
"Parents at Ribblesdale really do know how to look after their family's teeth."
There were three prizewinners who were presented with small gifts for their children.
