A MAN stabbed in the chest in Burnley is now recovering at home while police are still analysing clothing for forensic evidence.
Gary Kenyon, of Hibson Road, Nelson, was stabbed with a knife, narrowly missing his heart, after a dispute broke out in the queue for a town centre club. He lost five pints of blood in the attack and was transferred from Burnley General to Blackpool Royal Infirmary on Sunday morning so that heart specialists could decide whether surgery was needed.
Gary, 25, returned to the home he shares with his grandma, Kathleen Kenyon, on Tuesday evening.
Officers from Burnley's CID have already visited Gary, an upholsterer for Furnico, Colne, to take swabs from his mouth.Two men who had been arrested in relation to the incident were freed on police bail on Sunday evening.
