TWO women from a Bury-based shoe shop stepped out in style after winning a holiday of a lifetime in the USA.

Marie-Anne Spruce and Coleen Rhodes from the town's David Spruce shop joined 80 other British shoe retailers, courtesy of footwear manufacturer Hotter Comfort Concept.

During their five day trip, Marie-Anne and Coleen enjoyed an all expenses stay at the luxurious Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, a Rod Stewart concert, a boat trip on Lake Mead as well as excellent dining and entertainment in some of the US city's top hotels and restaurants.

The promotion was organised by the British company which designs, manufacturers and markets what has become the UK's fastest growing comfort shoe brand. Hotter targeted retailers to increase sales of their shoe brand by more than 20 per cent in six months.

The competition which The Mall-based David Spruce shop won was open to the majority of Hotter's retail stockists who were given individual sales targets to beat.
