A CONVICTED paedophile who is moving to Blackburn has denied behaving inappropriately towards children again.
But John Mack, 64, voluntarily agreed to a court order banning him from associating with any child. He was already on the Sex Offenders' Register for life, after indecently assaulting two four-year-old girls in July 1995, Blackpool Magistrates' Court heard.
Mack, of Park Road, Blackpool, is moving to Blackburn later this week, but the court was not told where in the town. He was brought before the court after claims a 13-year-old girl and 10-year-old boy had been visiting his house.
Niamh Noone, for Lancashire Police's Chief Constable, told the court: "The police have very grave concerns about Mack and think there is a real risk of harm unless this order is made."
But Trevor Colebourne, defending, said: "My client wishes to make it clear that he has done nothing improper and his conduct is entirely explicable."
