ACCRINGTON Stanley manager John Coleman insists he will not hit the panic button as his side look to bounce back from a disappointing 5-0 defeat.

The Reds suffered their worst Nationwide Conference loss at Stevenage Borough last weekend, but Coleman said: "We won't be making any panic decisions.

"I'm still happy with the system we've been playing and I'll assess it (team selection) as I see fit."

And Coleman is confident the players can make a full recovery as they entertain Conference newcomers Crawley Town tomorrow.

"We lost five against Gateshead away from home and went unbeaten to the end of the season," he said.

"We lost five to Telford last year and went to Chester and got a draw, so it might be an omen that we don't get beat after conceding five.

"You don't put Stevenage to the back of your mind because if you do that you'll tend to make the same mistakes again.

"What you do is try not focus on it and not let it dent your confidence. You try to highlight what we can do right to rectify what went wrong and look at our strengths.

"We have our own confidence."
