EVERYTHING is looking rosy for TV couple Darren Foster and Sam Lilley who are just seven days away from their dream wedding.

Darren (31), from Radcliffe, and Sam (23), from Hollins, will jet off to Cyprus to tie the knot at St George's Chapel in Paphos on September 3 .

The wedding will be screened live on GMTV and about 6,000 viewers every week have taken the trouble to ring in and say how the day should be organised.

They have made many of the key decisions, from the wedding dress and venue, through to the meals and bouquets on the day. The couple have become regulars on the morning show as each piece of the wedding jigsaw has been selected.

GMTV producer Ali Young said: "We have been getting about 6,000 votes each week and there were thousands more for the dress and venue.

"Some have been very close. With the groom's outfit, there were only seven votes in it!"

Darren said: "It's been an amazing few weeks, like a whirlwind really.

"We're not really sure what it will be like when it's all over and everything is back to normal.

"It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience and we are just making the most of it while we can.

"It's definitely something to tell the grandkids!"

Added Sam: "The first time we went live on the programme we were really nervous about saying the wrong things.

"I was shaking and Darren had a cold sweat. But we've been coming every week and are getting quite used to it and actually enjoy doing it now."
