A BROTHER and sister who had not seen each other for 38 years were emotionally reunited. Alex Jemman was 21 when he was separated from his 16-year-old sister Maria as Germany invaded their home in Poland. Maria was taken to Germany to work while Alex was made a prisoner before being sent to England. The pair lost touch but by chance Mr Jemman found his sister's new address in Australia. They were reunited when Maria, now a grandmother, flew to the UK to visit her brother at his home in Leamington Road, Blackburn.
