ONLY one bottle of milk was broken when a milk cart, pulled by a bolting horse, careered down a Burnley street.
The horse crashed through the window of a greengrocers shop in Briercliffe Road. The greengrocer saw the horse coming and jumped out of the way.
Milkman Douglas Seeney gave chase and eventually caught the horse which was left bruised and slightly cut.

MOTOR trader Trevor Pavelyn said he did not care that people gave him strange looks as he cycled around Blackburn's streets on a rusty girl's bicycle.
For the 30-year-old was building up his stamina for a 100-mile water-ski marathon which would see him on skis for four hours without a break.
Mr Pavelyn, of Whalley New Road, Blackburn, was raising money for Cancer Research.

A PET dog who saved his owner's life received a bravery award.
Thomas, a long-haired Jack Russell, alerted Stephen Foster to a fire in his cottage in Pot House Lane, Oswaldtwistle.
Fumes from a burning settee had begun to seep into Mr Foster's bedroom when he was woken by Thomas' barking.
Mr Foster smashed a window but escaped unhurt. Thomas was awarded the Bounce Superdogs Award by actress Lisa Goddard.
