CARING staff from the Leigh area received NVQ and career-based certificates from CLS Care Group chief executive Nick Dykes.
CLS and its sister charity, Borough Care Services, manage four care homes in the Leigh area and staff from Lyndhurst care home in College Street and from Hourigan House in Myrtle Avenue were among the award winners.
Qualifications recognised on the day included NVQs Care Level 2, 3 and 4, Modern Apprenticeships in Health and Social Care, Registered Managers and NVQs in Cleaning Building Interiors.
"Our own in-house training scheme delivers all the qualifications necessary for a successful career," said Mr Dykes.
"This has been all about thanking the staff for training hard and showing them that caring for older people can be a truly rewarding career."
