GOLBORNE CC lost their end of season match against Little Hulton by four wickets.
A weakened Golborne side perished after making a good start. Graham Marston and John Brunt put on 38 for the first wicket but once they had gone the rest of side collapsed to 73 all out with Mahmood and Penny each claiming five wickets. Marston top scored with 34.
Barry Greenwood soon had Perry back in the pavilion and Sutherland fell to Marston for 13. With other Little Hulton batsmen returning low scores, it was left to Mahmood to see his side home with an unbeaten 34.
Barry Greenwood was Golborne's best bowler with five wickets from his nine overs.
