THE latest Understanding Antiques course starts an eight week run on September 22 for collectors who want to increase their knowledge.
Classes at Lowton High School , between 7 and 9pm, will give help with object identification, what to collect and where to hunt those bargains, including e-bay.
Antiques, art and architecture will come under discussion and the programme will examine major designs from neo-classical to arts and crafts and the influence of designers such as Robert Adams, Thomas Chippendale and Clarice Cliff - plus how to be successful at auctions and fairs.
The course costs £25 and is lead by Barry Hayes who can be contacted for more details on 01942 603678.
