A COURSE designed to help people suffering from chronic conditions is being offered free to participants by Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Primary Care Trust.
The NHS-funded course starts on Friday, September 10 at Leigh Cricket Club, Beech Walk and runs for six consecutive Fridays between 10 am and 12.30pm.
The course will help people learn more about pain management techniques, coping with depression, relaxation, appropriate exercise, nutrition, dealing with fatigue, improved communications with health professionals, planning for the future and much more.
The courses are for over 18 year-olds living in Wigan Borough who have one or more chronic conditions such as diabetes, arthritis, asthma, MS, ME or osteoporosis.
