SUNDAY services at a Leigh church have taken on a whole new look.
A building project at Mill Lane Independent Methodist Church, near Butts Bridge means there is now space to offer a more exciting time to children, as part of the Sunday morning family Service.
Church leader Trevor Bell said: "We now have room for drama, games and craft activities to make church far more exciting for children. The new children's club will go under the name of Powerhouse.
"Mums and dads will be welcome to come along too, and join in the adult service that will carry on in the main church at the same time.
"Everything starts on Sunday mornings at 10.45am and will be over before 12. The new building has been completed after many years of hard work by the members and will be also used by the church's toddlers group and Friday night children's clubs."
