HINDSFORD made it three wins in succession beating Ashton Athletic 3-1 away in midweek.

The first half was closley fought with few chances but following some good defensive work from Stuart Lomax, Barry Edge found Dave Fashou with a long clearance and he beat the keeper with a well place lob.

Hindsford continued to press and following neat play between Paul Cunliffe and Neil Critchley, Darren Briggs headed home. Ashton replied almost immediately but Stuart Lomax found Fashou with a good ball down the left, he cut inside to beat the keeper with a powerful shot from outside the penalty area.

Saturday saw Hindsford's first defeat when they lost 3-0 away at AFC Blackley.

Blackley took their chances and deserved the win despite some good work from Dez Morris in midfield and Dave Fashou upfront who was unlucky to hit the crossbar.

The reserves had another resounding win 12-1 at home to Highfield United.

On Saturday the 1st team are away at Swinton Town with the reserves at home to Whitworth Valley, kick off's 2.30.
