I FIND it difficult to believe that there was any necessity to change the bus stops for the Number 33 bus from Ainsworth Street to the Boulevard in Blackburn.
Many people, particularly the elderly people were very distressed. They now have to carry heavy shopping bags all the way across the Boulevard, causing a great deal of hardship.
I notice that the 'powers that be' are always very pleased to listen to motorists, but then again a lot of them don't know what it is like to use public transport. I advise them to try it.
