MEMBERS of Prestwich area board held a minute's silence in memory of their colleague Nick Harrison.
As reported in last week's Guide, Mr Harrison was found dead at home by his wife, Dawn, just three days before his 35th birthday.
His funeral was held on Tuesday (Aug 31) at St Joseph's RC Church, in Bury.
Mr Harrison, of Meadowbrook Close, Bury, worked for Bury Council as a community housing officer and was responsible for homes in the Prestwich area.
Chairman of the area board, Coun Vic D'Albert, led the tribute at Wednesday's (Sept 1) meeting and described Mr Harrison as a "first rate officer".
He said: "On behalf of the area board I would like to extend our deepest sympathies to his family."
