SMALL construction firms throughout Bury are being invited to attend a free Health & Safety Executive safety awareness day at Haydock Park on Friday, October 8.
There were 13 fatal construction accidents in the north west and almost 500 serious injuries during 2002-03. The event will see the launch of safety messages "for the industry, from the industry".
