A HOUSEBUILDER has hit a brick wall in its attempts to recruit skilled tradesmen to work at its sites in Tottington and Radcliffe.
Morris, one of the UK's largest privately-owned housebuilders, is looking for bricklaying gangs. The company says it's struggling to find such workers in the local area.
Fred Knox, construction director for Morris (North) Ltd, said: "We are keen to employ more skilled bricklayers for our new sites in the Bury area.
He said the company, which has its largest division in the north west, is looking to develop more sites and there would be plenty of ongoing opportunities with the housebuilders.
Bricklayers interested should call 07909 907602 or use the Internet site www.morrishomes.co.uk.
